Owner Ronald Davis began working in carpentry at just 12 years old, learning the trade from his father, an old-school country carpenter who believed in hard work and practical craftsmanship. That early foundation shaped a career rooted in skill, discipline and respect for the craft.
In 1989, Ronald went full-time into construction, taking on any work necessary to support his family — remodeling, roofing, and general carpentry. By 1992, framing homes for builders became his primary focus and for many years it was the backbone of his work. During that time, he also built custom homes and completed major remodeling projects, gaining deep experience in structural construction and detailed finish work.
In 2016, Ronald’s career took a defining turn toward the window and door industry — one he and his wife firmly believe was guided by God’s direction. What began as a routine visit quickly revealed an opportunity that aligned with Ronald’s decades of construction experience and his desire to build something rooted in integrity and purpose.
With prayer, conviction, and a willingness to step forward in faith, Ronald and his wife committed themselves to building a company centered on quality workmanship, honest service, and accountability. His strong background in structural carpentry and remodeling provided a solid foundation, allowing the transition into windows and doors to feel both natural and intentional.
Over the following years, that calling became clear. Through focus, discipline, and reliance on the values God placed on their hearts, the business took shape into a system built on experience, refined processes, and a commitment to doing things right. By 2019, the direction was firmly established — laying the groundwork for the company Davis Windows & Doors is today.”
Putting Down Roots in the Ozarks
Around that same time, Ronald and his wife were seeking direction about where to build their future. After visiting the Ozarks and returning a year later, they found land along Lake Taneycomo that immediately felt like home. The way everything came together confirmed their decision to establish permanent roots in the Branson area.
Today, Davis Windows & Doors proudly serves homeowners throughout Southwest Missouri and Northern Arkansas, offering window replacement, door installation, remodeling, and home additions — all backed by decades of construction experience.
